It took a fall so deep,
that I bled in my soul
cold in the heart
and blue in my spirit
as it pushed me over the edge,
fore I took a leap of faith.

And only when I fell
on my knees as I knelt;
In the darkest of nights
yet profusely lit
and so patently divine, and only when I fell,
only then did he raise me.

Time seemed so trivial,
for I’ve been lost for so long.
Yet I felt the caress of my creator,
the strokes of love, and answers of solace.
As I wailed on my knees like a baby in his crib,

I knew I had found me,
for it was the night of destiny.
